What finishing the demo officially unlocks
The October 7 official update says that, after clearing the demo, you can develop one of the three Armed Schoolgirl outfit sets. The announcement describes these as content originally included among the Digital Deluxe bonuses.
The useful distinction is one outfit development opportunity after a demo clear. It is not an announcement that completing the demo grants all three outfit sets, all Deluxe weapons, the art book or the soundtrack.
If that is your goal, first finish the demo and check the resulting outfit-development option in your build. The cited announcement does not provide a universal platform-by-platform menu or button sequence for it.
Does the save carry into the full game?
Automaton’s October 16 hands-on reports that demo progress does not carry over, and that a demo-developed outfit can be used in the full game. Treat that as a published hands-on report, rather than official confirmation of the save-detection or claiming implementation.
| Question | Available answer | Basis |
|---|---|---|
| Can I develop a reward outfit after clearing? | One of three Armed Schoolgirl sets can be developed inside the demo. | Official October 7 update |
| Does normal demo progression continue? | The hands-on reports that demo progress does not carry over. | Automaton, October 16 |
| Can the developed outfit be used later? | The same hands-on reports use in the full game. | Automaton, October 16 |
| How is it detected or claimed? | The official material checked here does not establish platform, save-detection or claiming steps. | Implementation details remain unverified. |
Plan for a new progression run rather than grinding the demo to preserve an upgraded character. The reported outfit exception does not establish transfer of currency, weapons, materials or skills. It also does not establish cross-platform transfer.
Information checked October 25, 2026. No full-game migration or outfit claim is presented as an in-house test.
A demo outfit is not the Digital Deluxe package
The Digital Deluxe listing includes an Armed Schoolgirl Outfit Triple Combo, described as three sets including two color variations, plus the art book, selected music, bonus weapons and consumables. The demo update’s one-set development option is narrower.
The separate early-purchase collaboration costume and Probe Skin T-6407J have their own full-game conditions. Their Workshop-board claiming steps should not be copied onto the demo outfit. Use the edition and bonus comparison for the complete package and offer windows.
Is the demo about 10% of the game?
In the October 21 producer letter, the developer describes the demo as roughly 10% of the whole game’s content. That is a pre-release content comparison, not a timed completion target.
The same letter describes at least thirty hours for experiencing all content, including the main story, side missions and Dive Reports. It does not say the main story alone takes thirty hours, or that the demo should take three. Your demo time will vary with exploration, retries and whether you revisit the hospital.
The published hands-on describes the tutorial and Kirishima Central Hospital section, and says the hospital can be revisited after the demo boss. For practical progression, use the preparation loop and the operating-room boss guide, rather than treating a percentage as a checklist of unseen areas.
Does changing the outfit change the build?
The current game description says outward appearance can change without affecting stats. Its equipment screen shows a Toggle Gear/Appearance action, allowing the visual choice to be distinguished from stat-bearing gear.

For the nine-part gear system and body Artifact equipment, see gear, appearance and Artifacts. For a demo download, see the current platform entry points.
