This independent guide offers optional Google Analytics 4 to understand which guides are read. Analytics stays off until you explicitly allow it. There are no ads, accounts, comments, embedded video players or contact forms.
Optional analytics is configured for this build; your choice below controls loading.
Your analytics choice
Open Analytics choices in the footer to accept analytics or keep it off. The same control lets you withdraw later. No Google tag is loaded before acceptance. Analytics remains off on previews, localhost, unsupported hosts, while Global Privacy Control is enabled, or when your browser cannot save and read back your choice.
The site stores your choice in localStorage under anomalith:analytics-consent:v1. If you accept, Google Analytics may use first-party analytics cookies such as _ga and the cookie associated with this site’s data stream to distinguish visits. Withdrawing disables this site’s analytics and removes its accessible GA cookies. If the browser cannot save withdrawal, the page keeps analytics off and tells you the choice could not be saved.
What accepted analytics sends
The initial page-view event includes the page title, the site origin and path, and only the origin of a valid web referrer. The site does not send URL query strings, fragments, referrer paths, form values or email addresses as page-view parameters. It does not add automatic outbound-link or form events.
Advertising storage, ad user data, ad personalization and Google signals are disabled. A narrowly validated QA URL can add a non-personal test-run label and debug mode to the page-view event; ordinary visits do not include those fields.
When accepted analytics contacts Google, Google also receives network request information needed to deliver and process that service, such as an IP address and browser request headers. This policy does not promise that no network information is processed. See Google’s privacy policy.
Hosting requests
Delivering a page requires a hosting provider to handle request information such as an IP address, requested URL, browser headers and request time. The hosting provider can process security and operational logs under its own policies. This policy does not promise that the hosting network keeps no logs.
External links
Guides link to sources such as Steam, YouTube and the publisher’s website. Those services receive a request when you follow a link and apply their own privacy policies. A linked video is not automatically embedded or loaded by these pages.
Changes
This policy describes the site’s current optional-analytics behavior. If its data collection or advertising changes, the policy must be updated. Last updated October 25, 2026.
